Chiropractic is a holistic practice that helps maintain the health of your nervous system by improving the communication between your brain and your body.

As humans, we all have the incredible ability to heal (think about when you get a bruise - you don’t need to tell it how to heal, it just goes away on its own!) And this goes for just about everything in the body, but sometimes stress, lifestyle, and chronic injuries get in the way of that innate ability to heal. Chiropractic adjustments combat those blocks by balancing the nervous system, improving your brain body connection, and allowing that innate ability to heal to strengthen.

All that to say chiropractic care can help you with all sorts of aches and pains, from neck pain, low back pain, headaches, migraines, to GI pain, lack of balance, feelings of anxiety/depression and more.

On top of that, we’re going to go so far as to say Chiropractic care is the #1 way you can improve your posture. Dr. Hailey is a Certified Postural Neurologist so she has additional training on how to utilize chiropractic care and neurology in an approachable way that will create lasting, positive changes to your posture.

Whether you’re wanting to work on your posture as a preventative measure because you know that working at a desk job increases your likelihood of having posture problems, or you have noticed that you have “tech neck” or “hunch back” and you want to do something about it, beginning a posture program is a great place to start.

Dr. Hailey Steinhauser has a healing mentality, a calming energy, and is highly educated. She treats every patient with the understanding that health is multidimensional. She cares for each individual in ways specific to their needs. Her aim is to identify and correct the underlying root cause of the problem, whether it be from a physical injury, emotional stressors, poor posture, or any multitude of issues.

Born and raised in Michigan, she earned her Bachelors of Science (B.S.) in Movement Science at the University of Michigan School of Kinesiology and continued her studies at Life University earning her Doctorate of Chiropractic. She has further training in NeuroEmotional Technique (NET) and is a Certified Postural Neurologist. NET is an incredible technique that allows the practitioner to remove “limbic loops” from a patient’s neurology in order to extinguish the charge from negative life events that may be causing non-ideal reactions to stressors. As a certified Postural Neurologist, she is able to create lasting changes in a patient’s posture which helps to heal current injuries and also prevents future pain and neurological decline associated with poor posture.

Before moving to Pittsburgh, Dr. Hailey worked as a chiropractor on the beautiful island of Malta. Working in Malta gave her the opportunity to treat a wide variety of patients from babies & pregnant women, to athletes & geriatrics who needed to improve their posture; many of whom had never been to a chiropractor before. Dr. Hailey guides patients through posture programs and uses a variety of techniques to make sure each patient feels comfortable and heard. Though she misses the crystal clear water of the Mediterranean Sea, she is overjoyed to be setting roots in the Squirrel Hill community.

Dr. Hailey has a special interest in brain-based posture and changing internal stress responses. As a member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA) , she has a special interest in caring for perinatal women and babies. With her strong academic training, she target’s her patient’s health from all angles so they can take control and live their fullest lives.
